Front-end Developer based in Genova, Italy 🇮🇹

I started my coding journey with SheCodes after deciding to make a career change. Like many, I thought that coding was incredibly difficult and complicated, something I would never be able to do. I found SheCodes free online introductory class and decided to give it a shot. This is when I discovered coding maybe wasnt't as scary as I had previously thought. I proceeded to sign up for SheCodes Basics and the rest is history.

I currently live in Genova, Italy but I'm Scottish. I moved to Italy with my boyfriend, who is Italian, after university. I studied Business with Languages at Edinburgh Napier University and then began teaching English soon after arriving in Italy. As much as I have loved teaching in these past years, it is not what I would like to do for the rest of my life, as I feel limited in professional and personal developement. I am looking for a career that is challenging, with opportunity for progression and developement and I feel that front-end developement can offer this to me.
